Meet Morgan, Pine Creek High School Class of 2016! First off, let me say that I heart all of my seniors – you can’t hang out and ask people to do all kinds of strange things, and take their picture without having at least a little bit of fun, and I love that I get to be a part of a senior year tradition. Confession: I totally stalk you all on Instagram to see what you’re up to. That said, Morgan and her shoot might be my favorite of all 2016! I mean talk about photogenic and a total bombshell! But Morgan is a really fun person too – she is so inquisitive and asks such great questions – it’s not just polite conversation, she genuinely wants to understand. This is going to take her far in this world – she’s a natural life-long learner.

We started Morgan’s session at The Studio where she had her hair and make-up done by the ever impressive Ryin – magic happens when my seniors put total trust in her expertise and Morgan really did that – she sat back and let Ryin do her thing and it turned out amazing. Having your make-up done for your senior photos is really about making you look like the best possible you. Ryin is so talented at bringing out your natural beauty and making sure that your best features translate to the camera. Ask Morgan about getting her make-up done! Pine Creek High School, Senior Photography, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Leocadia Photography, StudioThen we headed outside and off to my favorite Open Space because Morgan was born in Colorado and wanted something that just felt really home! We were hoping for some fall color, but if this season isn’t just the strangest – most of the trees were still really green. We found a great spot with mountains in the background and beautiful Colorado grass to give us that golden autumn feeling. Morgan brought along some fun umbrellas to play with and I love so much how this shot turned out. Bonus points that the color of her umbrella matches my brand!Pine Creek High School, Senior Photography, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Leocadia Photography, natural light, nature, outdoors, field, mountains, umbrellaRemember I said bombshell above? Yeah. That. My goodness she’s gorgeous!Pine Creek High School, Senior Photography, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Leocadia Photography, natural light, nature, outdoors, field, mountains,That adorable natural smile in the middle? That may or may not have something to do with the fact that I sat on a cactus. Trust, she is laughing at me, not with me. Or, I totally do what I have to do to get the shot… I mean, I do, but I try really hard to not sit on a cactus #jobhazzard. And how much do you just love that red flannel shirt with the gold field?! Pine Creek High School, Senior Photography, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Leocadia Photography, natural light, nature, outdoors, field, mountains,I love her side look in the one above – she’s just cute! The one shot that Morgan really wanted was of her and her mama. You can just see how much love they have for one another and how special this relationship is. Lets say it together: Awwww…Pine Creek High School, Senior Photography, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Leocadia Photography, natural light, nature, outdoors, field, mountains,
